Book Heritage
The Department of Rare Books and Manuscripts holds rare and especially valuable editions, manuscripts, archival documents, and graphic materials which have scientific, historical and cultural significance.
The Book Museum, an exhibition space of the TSU Research Library, was opened in 2005, based on a permanent exhibition on the history of books that ran from 1944 to 2003 at the Department of Rare Books and Manuscripts.
The «International School of Restoration» project has been underway at the Research Library of Tomsk State University since 2014. It has proved to be an effective platform for exchanging professional experience and conducting joint training events.
